Privacy Policy
Overview
Auvra is a gold price tracking app for iPhone. This policy explains what happens to information when you use the app and these web pages.
No account; no personal data collection
Auvra has no user accounts. We do not collect, sell, or link personal data to you. We do not use advertising identifiers, analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking.
What stays on your device
Your preferences, favorites, and cached market data stay on your iPhone. Widgets on the same device read shared data through Apple’s App Group storage. Nothing is synced to our servers or to iCloud.
Network requests
To show prices and charts, the app contacts:
- gold-api.com — the live international gold price, requested directly by the app.
- The Auvra proxy — current exchange rates, cached price history, the previous close and historical exchange rates.
When your device calls the proxy, we see your IP address only for the moment needed to enforce per-IP rate limits. We do not store IP addresses, set cookies, or build profiles from proxy traffic. Direct requests to gold-api.com also send your device’s IP address to that service. Auvra does not receive that address back from it.
No tracking
We do not run analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs in the app. The proxy logs only static diagnostic tags and error names—not IP addresses, query strings, headers, or response bodies.
Deleting your data
Deleting the Auvra app removes its local data from your iPhone. You can also erase everything the app stored in Settings → Privacy & Storage → Clear All App Data inside Auvra.
Informational prices only
Prices and comparisons in Auvra are estimates for information. They are not financial advice, investment recommendations, or offers to buy or sell.
